The Muff Liquor company and its signature products of potato vodka and potato craft gin was an exciting opportunity to experiment with a concept reflective of handmade and epicurean labelling. Muff is a small village in County Donegal, Ireland, and this brand was inspired by a local farmer, and his old-style methods of concocting unusual potato-based spirits in the back shed of his flourishing potato farm in the early 20th century. Described as quirky and nostalgic, these labels have had great appeal to an audience more accustomed to conventional labels. It is the label’s homemade ‘outlawed’ appearance and their sense of fun and daring that capture the imagination!
